Accessibility
Our aim
We want everyone to be able to use this website and CodeB Wallet – with a screen reader, the keyboard, zoom or high contrast. Our target is WCAG 2.2 level AA, the standard behind EN 301 549 and the European Accessibility Act.
Status
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 AA. On 2 November 2026 an automated check of all pages in all four languages (axe-core, WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2, levels A and AA) found no violations. Automated checks cover only part of WCAG, so a manual review (keyboard use, screen readers, 200% zoom, reading order) is still to come; until then we do not claim full conformance.
What we already do
Text alternatives for images and icons, a clear heading structure, a skip link to the content, visible focus, labelled links and buttons, sufficient colour contrast in the page design, light and dark mode, no autoplaying sound and no flashing content. The short app clips are silent and described in the text next to them. The site works without cookies and without tracking.
Known limits
Colour contrast of text placed over pictures could not be checked automatically. The 30-second demo video has no audio description; the paragraph next to it describes what it shows. Some screenshots in the manual show app screens whose text is repeated in the steps, not in the image description.
The app
CodeB Wallet itself uses Android’s accessibility features: content descriptions for screen readers, scalable text and minimum touch-target sizes. A review with Android’s accessibility tools is planned before general availability.
